The SCB13-500KVA dry-type transformer is an efficient and economical power equipment.
The SCB13-500KVA dry-type transformer is an efficient and economical power equipment. Below is an introduction in terms of parameters, characteristics, usage precautions, and maintenance:
Parameter Examples
Rated Voltage: Common specifications include 10KV/0.4KV or 35KV/0.4KV.
Rated Capacity: 500KVA.
Load Loss: Varies among different manufacturers. For instance, some products have a load loss of 1360W, while others have 4880W.
No-load Loss: For example, some products have a no-load loss of 930W.
Impedance Voltage: Typically ranges from 4.0% to 8.0%.
Dimensions: For example, 1360×1170×936 (length × width × height in mm).
Protection Level: Generally IP20.
Cooling Method: AN/AF.
Frequency: 50Hz.
Winding Form: Double-winding.
Number of Phases: Three-phase.
Characteristics
High Efficiency and Energy-saving: Adopts advanced design and materials, featuring low load loss and no-load loss, effectively reducing energy consumption and improving energy utilization efficiency.
Safe and Reliable: Possesses characteristics such as being oil-free, free from partial discharge, and fire-safe, allowing direct indoor installation and reducing fire hazards.
Stable Operation: Utilizes a high-strength and high-efficiency winding structure, capable of providing stable and reliable power output to ensure the normal operation of the power system.
Compact Structure: Reasonably designed with a small footprint, facilitating easy installation and maintenance.
Low Noise: Produces minimal noise during operation, causing no disturbance to the surrounding environment.
Strong Corrosion Resistance: Employs advanced coating technology, with a surface that is waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and dustproof, capable of adapting to various harsh environmental conditions.
Good Self-cooling Performance: Equipped with a high-temperature self-cooling system to ensure the stability and safety of the entire transformer.
Usage Precautions
Maintain Good Ventilation: Should be installed in a well-ventilated environment to avoid high temperatures and humidity, ensuring the normal operation of ventilation equipment such as fans.
Prevent Overloading: Strictly prohibit overloading to avoid damaging the equipment and affecting power supply stability.
Pay Attention to Lightning Protection and Moisture Prevention: Strengthen lightning protection measures during thunderstorms and avoid moisture. When restarting a dry-type transformer that has been out of service in a humid environment, check and address any abnormal humidity.
Ensure Proper Grounding Protection: Ensure good grounding to avoid safety hazards.
Avoid Polluted Environments: Try to avoid using it in heavily polluted environments to prevent performance degradation.
Maintenance
Regular Cleaning: Keep the transformer surface clean to avoid the impact of dust and debris on heat dissipation. In areas with heavy dust accumulation, clean at least once every six months. For dust in the ventilation ducts, use a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to remove it.
Strengthen Maintenance of Ventilation Equipment: Ensure the normal operation of fans. If the load is small and there are no particular hot spots on the transformer, the number of operating fans can be reduced, but at least one fan must remain in operation. Generally, 4m³/min of ventilation is required to dissipate 1kW of heat loss.
Strengthen Temperature Monitoring: Regularly observe the temperature controller to check if the three-phase temperatures are balanced and whether there are sudden changes in the temperature display value of any phase. For large-capacity transformers and those in important locations, request the transformer manufacturer to install an additional thermistor for each phase to achieve dual configuration of the temperature controller.
Actively Carry Out Dehumidification Work: In humid places, when restarting a dry-type transformer that has been out of service, check for abnormal humidity and, if present, use hot air to dry its surface.
Inspect Fasteners and Connectors: During long-term operation, due to external short circuits or other reasons, fasteners and connectors may become loose due to end stress or vibration. Regularly inspect and tighten them.
Actively Carry Out Derusting Work: Prevent core rusting, as large-area core rusting can increase transformer losses, reduce efficiency, and even directly affect the transformer's lifespan.
Strengthen Lightning Arrester Configuration and Maintenance Inspection: Currently produced dry-type transformers have lower voltage withstand levels compared to oil-immersed transformers. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the configuration and maintenance inspection of lightning arresters. Zinc oxide lightning arresters are preferred.
The main products include oil immersed transformers, dry-type transformers, power transformers, amorphous alloy transformers, mining transformers, box type substations, high and low voltage switchgear and supporting products
