Mining dry-type transformers are specialized transformers specifically designed for mining environments, featuring the following key characteristics and application highlights:
Suitable Environments and Characteristics:
Mining dry-type transformers are suitable for harsh environments such as mines and quarries. They possess dust-proof, moisture-proof, and explosion-proof properties, enabling them to adapt to conditions of high temperature, humidity, and dust.
These transformers do not use oil or other liquid insulating substances, making them suitable for use in locations where gas or coal dust explosion hazards exist.
Models and Classifications:
Common mining dry-type transformers include the KBSG series (flameproof type) and the KSG series (general type).
The KBSG series is equipped with a flameproof enclosure and is suitable for coal mines with explosion hazards, providing safe and reliable power supply.
The KSG series is applicable to coal mine sites without gas, dripping water, or coal dust explosion hazards, as well as chambers in non-coal mines.
Technical Parameters and Performance:
Mining dry-type transformers utilize high-quality silicon steel sheets and oxygen-free copper conductors to reduce no-load and load losses, thereby improving energy efficiency.
They feature a compact iron core structure with small hysteresis elongation and low noise levels. The use of a wound iron core design minimizes joints and reduces noise sources.
These transformers possess a high protection rating (e.g., IP54), with a well-sealed enclosure capable of withstanding certain water pressure and mechanical impacts.
Safety and Protection Functions:
Mining dry-type transformers are equipped with safety functions such as overload protection and short-circuit protection to ensure timely power cutoff in abnormal conditions, safeguarding both equipment and personnel safety.
The transformer design complies with national explosion-proof standards, with electrical performance, mechanical performance, and noise levels all meeting national requirements.
Installation and Maintenance:
The transformer is securely fixed as a whole, with a tilt tolerance of ±15°, enabling it to adapt to vibration requirements during transportation.
Regular inspection and maintenance are crucial for ensuring the long-term stable operation of the transformer, including cleaning, fastener checks, and insulation performance testing.
Application Examples:
In underground coal mines, mining dry-type transformers provide power for fully mechanized mining and excavation equipment, supporting safe mine production.
In non-coal mines and tunnel construction, they supply stable power to various equipment.
The main products include oil immersed transformers, dry-type transformers, power transformers, amorphous alloy transformers, mining transformers, box type substations, high and low voltage switchgear and supporting products
