I. Basic Characteristics

Function: They provide power for various power equipment and electrical devices, such as fully mechanized coal mining equipment, hand-held electric drills, and lighting systems.
Voltage Level and Capacity: The highest voltage level can reach up to 10.5kV, and the maximum capacity can be up to 4000kVA.
II. Structural Features
Flameproof Design: Mining flameproof transformers adopt special sealing, flameproof structures, and material designs, possessing sufficient mechanical strength. All joint surfaces of the enclosure are manufactured according to flameproof requirements and can withstand a certain internal pressure (e.g., 1MPa), ensuring safe operation in explosive environments.
Dry-type Structure: They do not use oil-based insulating media, avoiding the risk of oil pollution while reducing maintenance workload and costs.
High-quality Materials: The iron core is made of high-quality grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, the windings use high-quality conductors, and the insulation system employs advanced materials (such as NOMEX insulation system), enhancing the transformer's performance and reliability.
III. Performance Advantages
Strong Overload Capacity: They can withstand a certain overload current, ensuring stable operation during sudden situations.
Low Losses: The no-load loss and no-load current are low, resulting in significant energy-saving effects.
Low Noise: The noise generated during operation is relatively low, improving the working environment.
Low Temperature Rise: Through optimized design and heat dissipation design, the temperature rise of the transformer is effectively controlled.
Strong Short-circuit Withstand Capability: Advanced coil winding processes and vacuum pressure impregnation processes are adopted to improve the transformer's short-circuit withstand capability.
IV. Protection Functions
Multiple Protections: Mining flameproof transformers are equipped with protection functions such as overload, short-circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, leakage current, leakage current lockout, phase loss, overtemperature, wind-power and gas lockout, and emergency stop of the upstream power supply.
Intelligent Monitoring: They adopt PLC comprehensive protection systems for monitoring and fault tripping, with functions such as system self-checking, fault diagnosis, inspection, and memory. They can detect and digitally display the operating status and fault indications in real-time.
V. Applications and Installation
Application Scenarios: They are not only suitable for underground coal mines but can also be extended to ground power supply systems to meet various power demands.
Installation Conditions: There are certain requirements for altitude, ambient temperature, and relative air humidity. They must be installed and used in environments without strong jolts or vibrations and with an inclination from the vertical plane not exceeding specified values.
