  The voltage regulation of dry-type transformers is mainly achieved by adjusting the transformer ratio. The following is a detailed introduction to the voltage regulation of dry-type transformers:

  1、 Voltage regulation principle

  Dry type transformers work based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, and their voltage regulation mainly relies on changing the turns ratio of the primary and secondary windings. When the primary winding is connected to an AC power source, an alternating magnetic flux is generated in the iron core, which in turn induces an electromotive force in the secondary winding. By adjusting the number of turns in the winding, the magnitude of the induced electromotive force can be changed, thereby achieving voltage regulation.

  2、 Voltage regulation method

  The voltage regulation methods for dry-type transformers mainly include the following:

  Non excitation voltage regulation:

  Principle: In the event of a power outage in a transformer, voltage regulation is achieved by adjusting the turns ratio of the winding by changing the position of the tap changer.

  Features: Simple structure, easy operation, but power outage is required during the adjustment process, which affects the continuity of power supply.

  Application scenario: Suitable for situations where voltage regulation accuracy is not high and short-term power outages are allowed.

  On load voltage regulation:

  Principle: In the case of a transformer with a load, the turns ratio of the winding is adjusted online through an on load tap changer to achieve continuous voltage regulation.

  Characteristics: No power outage is required during the adjustment process, ensuring the continuity of power supply, but the structure is complex and the cost is high.

  Application scenario: Suitable for situations where high voltage regulation accuracy is required and power outages are not allowed, such as areas with large voltage fluctuations in the power grid or power supply for important loads.

  3、 Application scenarios of voltage regulation

  The voltage regulation function of dry-type transformers is particularly important in the following scenarios:

  Voltage fluctuations in the power grid: In areas with significant voltage fluctuations in the power grid, voltage regulation can be used to maintain stable output voltage and ensure the normal operation of electrical equipment.

  Load variation: When the load changes, the output voltage of the transformer can be adjusted through voltage regulation to adapt to the load variation and improve the operating efficiency of the power system.

  Special electrical equipment: Some special electrical equipment require high voltage stability, such as precision instruments, medical equipment, etc., and their electrical needs can be met through voltage regulation.

  4、 Technical parameters and performance

  The technical parameters for voltage regulation of dry-type transformers mainly include regulation range, regulation accuracy, and response time

  Adjustment range: refers to the voltage range that a transformer can adjust, usually expressed as a percentage of the rated voltage.

  Adjustment accuracy: refers to the degree of deviation between the output voltage of a transformer and the set voltage, usually expressed as a percentage or voltage value.

  Response time: refers to the time required for a transformer to receive a regulation command and stabilize its output voltage.
