The weight of an amorphous alloy transformer varies significantly depending on its rated capacity and structural type (e.g., oil-immersed or dry-type). Below are specific weight data for different capacity specifications from multiple manufacturers, which can serve as a reference:

2. Resin-cast dry-type amorphous alloy transformers
This type is relatively heavier than some oil-immersed counterparts of the same capacity. For example, the weight of a 100kVA dry-type one is 890kg, a 200kVA is 1400kg, a 500kVA is 2440kg, a 1000kVA is 4050kg, and a 2500kVA model can reach 6730kg.
In addition, small-capacity amorphous alloy transformers (below 30kVA) are also available for specific scenarios. For instance, a 5kVA model weighs about 70kg, and a 25kVA one weighs around 162kg. It should be noted that the weight may slightly differ due to manufacturers’ technical improvements, structural adjustments, or material upgrades, so the actual product parameters shall prevail.
