Classification and TypeDivided into mining flameproof dry-type transformers and mining general oil-immersed transformers to meet varying explosion risk environment requirements.
Flameproof StructureFlameproof models utilize a fully corrugated cylindrical flameproof enclosure with an oblong cross-section (semicircular top and bottom, straight sides) and a one-piece formed irregular corrugated tube. The enclosure is equipped with guiding cooling fins to ensure efficient heat dissipation and mechanical strength.
Insulation SystemUtilizes H-class DuPont NOMEX® insulation materials from the USA, featuring non-encapsulated oblong coils with a flat copper wire vertical winding structure. Treated via VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) process, impregnated with solvent-free insulating varnish, and baked for curing, resulting in high electrical strength and strong impact resistance.
Core MaterialSelects high-permeability cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with an oblong cross-section and a hole-free H200 tight binding method, ensuring a compact structure, low losses, and reduced noise.
Protection RatingFlameproof enclosures can withstand internal pressures of 0.8-1 MPa, complying with explosion-proof standards; general oil tanks can withstand pressures of 0.1 MPa, achieving an IP44 or higher protection rating to adapt to harsh mine environments.
Cooling SystemNatural ventilation or forced air cooling (axial fans), with some models equipped with intelligent temperature control systems that automatically adjust fan speed based on load to maintain stable operating temperatures.
Electrical PerformanceNo-load losses are reduced by an average of 14% compared to the GB8286-1996 national standard, while load losses are reduced by an average of 10%; partial discharge levels are ≤10 pC, indicating excellent insulation performance.
Capacity and VoltageOffers a wide rated capacity range (e.g., 2.5 kVA to 1600 kVA), with high-voltage side support for voltage regulation at 11/10.5/10/6.3 kV and low-voltage side providing multiple wiring modes such as 400 V and 690 V.
Overload CapacityAllows short-term overloads of 20%-30% (sustained for 2 hours) to accommodate load fluctuations in mining operations.
Environmental AdaptabilityWithstands dust, corrosive gases, and high temperatures; special designs are required for high-altitude areas to compensate for heat dissipation; enclosures are made of stainless steel or galvanized steel plates for resistance to moisture and corrosion.
Installation and TransportationFeatures a compact structure and lightweight design, equipped with skids for convenient transportation on mine railway tracks; installation should avoid areas prone to water splashing or dust accumulation to ensure proper ventilation and heat dissipation.
Maintenance and MonitoringRegularly inspect insulation resistance (≥100 MΩ) and grounding resistance (≤4 Ω), monitor oil quality, infrared images, and partial discharges; some models are equipped with temperature controllers and digital temperature monitoring instruments for over-temperature alarms and interlock protection.
